Cookeville Listings in Short Supply

Cookeville Listings in Short Supply

How quickly things change!  Just two years ago our Cookeville market was still slowly recovering from the downturn in the housing market.  Back then, buyers had a huge selection of houses to choose from and great bargaining power too.  Today, not so much.

In fact, that's an understatement.  The truth is that houses are in very short supply. There are plenty of buyers actively looking for homes, but the selection is very small. I have loads of buyers trying to find homes right now. Some have been looking for months.

Cookeville house listings

Very few homes are being listed in our area, and those that are well kept and reasonably priced are selling quickly.  We are even starting to see multiple offers in some cases!

Out of frustration at not being able to find the right homes for my buyers, I've taken to the blog-o-sphere in search of listings.  Just take a look at my newest post today over at my personal website:  Desperately Seeking Listings.

If you live in Putnam, White, Overton, or Jackson counties and have even remotely considered selling your home, I'd love to talk with you! It's a great time to sell a home in Cookeville and the surrounding area.
