Obsessed with  Real Estate

I've never thought of myself as the obsessive type. I'm really not sure that it's true. In fact, most of you are probably just like me. We are perfectly normal.

Don't all real estate agents love Monopoly®?  Isn't Monopoly Streets for Xbox the best game ever?  In fact, it's so much fun that the buttons are falling off the Xbox controller and dear sweet hubby hides under the bed when asked if he would like to play......again.

Of course, what Realtor® doesn't love watching the real estate reality TV shows?  In fact, I'm sure it's perfectly normal to have every last one of them on DVD.  It's a great way to fall asleep each night...watching people sell million dollar listings makes for sweet dreams!  Not that I dream about real estate.....

Oh, and what is more fun than admiring the architecture of homes and buildings in other places?  Doesn't everyone check out houses while on vacation?!  How could you help but do?

What about artwork? Even though he's so mainstream I'm reluctant to admit it; I do love Thomas Kinkade. The man paints pictures of the most perfect houses and cottages imaginable, so of course I love him.  The fact that he has become such a mainstream hit just proves that everyone loves to look at houses!

I'm willing to bet that all of you have an entire section in your library devoted to books about real estate. There's the glossy coffee table books of the most beautiful houses in the world. There's every book every written about how to be a real estate rock star. There's books on flipping houses, real estate investing, cultivating curb appeal, garden makeovers, home improvement, interior decorating.....well, you get the idea.

I'm convinced this is perfectly normal. Are you perfectly normal too?
